Junior Jets win Avon League play-offs to book spot in National Finals

Bristol Jets U12 badminton side will compete at the National Junior League Finals on Saturday May 12th at the National Badminton Centre in Milton Keynes, after winning the Avon League play-offs on Saturday.

The Jets beat off competition from five regional sides to book their place at finals weekend, much to the delight of community development officer, Claire Buckingham.

“This is such a fantastic achievement from the team, who played so well throughout the Avon League finals,” she said.

“They should all be so proud of what they have achieved and can now look forward to an amazing weekend in Milton Keynes next month.”

Bristol Jets Community is proud to be developing and delivering programmes that give children and adults the chance to play badminton and keep active.

We are aspirational in our aim to support health and well-being by providing access to badminton across all areas of the community. We provide high quality coaching for everyone through a range of initiatives to develop a love of sport and activity.
