Lando Norris is hoping for more success as the MSA Formula Championship moves ever closer to its thrilling climax.
With nine races left in which to decide the title, the competition heads to Rockingham this weekend.
Just four points separate the 15-year-old Carlin driver and leader Collard, he is confident he can keep the pressure on his rival.
The ADD Motorsports driver said: “Rockingham is a good track for me. We looked good there in the tests at the start of the year - although a lot has changed there.
“Looking after the tyres is crucial this weekend, but it’s a really good track for racing on and overtaking, which I’ll enjoy.
“We are looking for podiums and points. Hopefully I can cut out some of the little mistakes that have cost me recently.”
Lando topped the podium for the fifth time this season at Knockhill last time out, getting the weekend off to the best possible start.
But a few slight mistakes cost him places in the latter races, seeing him close the gap but stay in second place overall.
Now he hopes for a more consistent weekend to ensure he stays in the exciting title race until the very end.
He added: “It’s really exciting. Now we have to take each race as it comes and see what happens.”
Lando's first race is on Saturday, 5th September at 2:25pm.
