Bristol's Lily Owsley has been awarded the Federation of International Hockey's Rising Star of the Year.
The 21-year-old forward picks up the accolade after an incredible 2015, which saw Great Britain win their first European Hockey title in 24 years.
Owsley played a key role in the final against a Netherlands side playing on home soil, scoring a late equaliser to take the game to penalties.
The England international also helped GB to qualify for the 2016 Olympics in Rio following a tough qualifying tournament in Valencia.
It was all the more remarkable considering the Bristol-born hockey player had recovered from a bout of viral meningitis earlier in the year.
