Former Bristol Rugby scrum-half Agustin Pichot has been elected vice-chairman of rugby union’s international governing body, World Rugby.
The former Argentina international, who is listed as one of the 100 greats in the Dolman Stand concourse, spent four years in the South West making 65 appearances for the club.
Pichot will begin his role on July 1st and will work alongside newly-appointed chairman of World Rugby, Bill Beaumont.
Beaumont captained England to the grand slam in 1980 and led the Lions tour of South Africa that same year.
