Reigning Corporate Basketball champions visit Flyers matchday

Staff from Hargreaves Lansdown (HL), the reigning Bristol Sport Foundation Corporate Basketball festival champions, attended Bristol Flyers’ BBL Cup victory over Leicester Riders at SGS College earlier this month.

Ahead of the 2020 festival, the team from HL were treated to a fun-filled evening as part of their prize for last year’s triumph, as the Flyers stormed to a historic victory over the BBL giants.

This year’s Corporate Basketball festival will take place on Tuesday, February 18th at SGS College, with spaces still available.

Corporate Partnerships Manager, Paul Glanville, said: "It was fantastic to welcome the reigning Nascence basketball champions from Hargreaves Lansdown (HL) to cheer on the Flyers in their historic first win against Leicester Riders - and with the next tournament running on Tuesday, February 18th at SGS College, the HL team will be getting ready to defend their crown so this was a great chance for them to see how the pros do it.

“The tournament is a great chance for companies to network with likeminded businesses who value the impact that they can have on their communities, whilst fundraising for the life changing work delivered by the Bristol Flyers Community team in some of the most disengaged wards of Bristol.

“We look forward to welcoming HL and all of our Nascence partners back to the court for an evening of fun, a bit of exercise, some food and networking whilst raising much needed funds.”

If your business is interested in getting involved, please email Paul Glanville.
