On 51 minutes Toni Duggan made it 2-0 to the visitors. Caitlin Leach was adjudged to have committed a foul in the box from a corner, and Duggan stepped up calmly to convert from the spot.

Soon after, Duggan made it a hat-trick with a low shot into the corner of the net. Manchester City Women were 3-0 up after 57 minutes and City Women had work to do.

Duggan was at it again on the hour mark, hitting the post after Leach tipped her shot onto the post. The Manchester City Women striker was on sparkling form throughout the game.
