Report: Zamparelli Finishes Fifth In Spa

Dino Zamparelli couldn't improve on his fifth place grid position in the second Porsche Carrera Cup GB race of the weekend.

The Bristol Sport racer had high hopes heading into this weekend at a Spa circuit that he knew well from his time in GP3, finishing second there last year.

It was another solid race following his fourth place in Friday's race, and whilst not the podium place he was looking for, it represents a steady improvement from the first round of races.

Immediately after the race Zamparelli commented: "It was a solid weekend, with fourth and fifth place finishes, so I'm happy to get some points on the board.

"We've got some progress to make, we're not too far away from where we want to be, we just need to find that little bit extra to challenge at the front."

Zamparelli and the Parr Motorsport team now have a full month to work on the car before the next round of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Oulton Park on June 6th.
