Chris Stenner has expressed his pure delight with Bristol City Community Trust’s newly launched partnership with the Professional Footballers Associations (PFA) through the Union Learning Fund.
The Community Trust hosted an official launch event at Ashton Gate on Wednesday evening, which saw representatives from the PFA and fellow Trust sponsors come together to celebrate the new partnership – a relationship the head of the education insists demonstrates the Trust’s vision to continually develop and strengthen.
“I am extremely grateful for the support the PFA and Union Learning Fund have already provided the Trust in the short time we have been in partnership,” said Stenner.
“While the PFA will provide for our education programmes financially, they will be of benefit to us in many other ways.
“The variety in support the PFA will provide is extremely encouraging and it will assist in up-skilling staff across all departments to ensure we continue to grow from strength to strength in size and capability.
“Going into the 2016/17 academic year we are at maximum capacity for each course but our relationship with the PFA will be of benefit when recruiting in future years. They are such a recognised force within the sporting sector and it is an honour to be associated with the organisation.
“I am very excited for what the future holds, both for the development in the Trust and the relationship between ourselves and partners.”
