Support Needed To Keep International Cricket In Bristol

Gloucestershire County Cricket Club needs support for floodlight application to ensure 2019 Cricket World Cup stays in Bristol.

Gloucestershire County Cricket Club’s Floodlight Planning Application is due to be heard by the City Council’s Planning Committee on Wednesday, 29 April.

The future of the 2019 Cricket World Cup in Bristol is under threat until planning is accepted on the the installation of permanent floodlights which would meet the International Cricket Council (ICC) guidelines.  Without these, the matches could be reallocated to other First Class Counties that already stage International cricket.

You can support and leave your comments on the planning application by clicking here.  You can help ensure International and floodlit cricket continues to be played in Bristol which is crucial to the Club’s future success.
