Yesterday’s GCSE results day proved to be a huge success for Bristol City Community Trust as they accepted a record-breaking number of students on to each of their 2016/17 post-16 college courses.
Prospective students visited Ashton Gate having received their GCSE results and the Trust took great satisfaction in accepting just over 80 students on to their education programmes, which has seen each course reach maximum capacity.
“Yesterday’s GCSE results day was extremely enjoyable due to the volume of students we accepted on to our courses,” said head of education Chris Stenner.
“Our education programmes have been continually developing in the last few years and the number of students we will have studying with us in September demonstrates how far we have come.
“It is an extremely exciting time for everyone associated with the Community Trust and I am sure the attitude of our new students, combined with the passion and drive of our sports lecturers, will see us achieve emphatic results throughout the next academic year.”
