Wickston Wanderers were crowned Bristol Together champions for 2016 after another hard-fought and action-packed tournament at Keynsham Town Football Club on Friday, 24th June.
The team - made up of pupils from Wick Primary and Easton Primary - beat St Cheddar â St Michaels on the Mount and Cheddar Grove â on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
Whitehall Abbots (Whitehall Primary and Hanham Abbots) finished third, while FC Fair Down United (Fair Furlong Primary and Ashley Down Primary) were fourth.
The Bristol Together Championships (BTC) is an exciting new project, working alongside the Bristol City Community Trust and supported by the Bristol Sport Foundation; Bristol City Council; Quartet Foundation; and Avon and Somerset Police.
The tournament was designed to help cross gender; race; class; geographical and faith boundaries in the community.
