Dino Zamparelli will be looking to improve on his last round's performance this weekend at Knockhill in the Porsche Carrera Cup.
The Bristol Sport Racing driver set out to resume his championship battle at the Snetterton Circuit but it didn't go to plan.
The 23-year-old had a disappointing qualifying round which meant he ended up fifth on the grid and finished sixth place in the first race.
"We didn't have the balance we wanted to get the results we know we could achieve," said Zamparelli.
In the second race, Zamparelli started third on the grid and held his position throughout the race, managing to get on the podium.
"It wasn't the weekend we were hoping for after such successful racing at Croft the round before.
"We just didn't have the pace we needed."
The GT Marques driver is now six points behind current Porsche Carrera Cup table leader, Dan Cammish.
Zamparelli is back on the track with his new look Porsche this weekend for the ninth and tenth round at Knockhill.
"We have a lot to prove this weekend and nailing qualifying will be key.
"We are all ready to go at a wet and windy Knockhill for Free Practice today."
The young driver has qualifying on Saturday, August 13th at 2:15pm with both races on Sunday, August 14th at 10:15am and 3:40pm.
