The 15-year-old Carlin driver can add another piece of silverware to his ever-growing cabinet if he keeps his cool in what is sure to be a thrilling finale at Brands Hatch.
After chalking up seven wins during the season, the Somerset racer now sits 13-points ahead of nearest rival Ricky Collard.
But with 25 points available for the winner of each race, five points for the fastest lap in qualifying and a point for the fastest lap in each race, there are also two other drivers still mathematically in the title race.
And it has left the ADD Motorsports-supported racer knowing he has to stay focused every step of the way if he is to leave as champion on Sunday.
He said: “I’m really excited. It’s been a really competitive season that comes down to these last three races.
“Brands Hatch is one of my favourite tracks and I won here last season and earlier in the season as well.
“I think I’m going to have to be consistent and aim for a win and another podium without making any major mistakes to have a chance of taking the title.”
Lando was lucky to emerge unhurt from an accident in the final weekend of the ADAC F4 Championship this Saturday.
After clipping the back-end of another car he span in the air, before rolling over twice and landing upside down.
It was a heart-stopping moment that thankfully saw him given the all-clear at hospital later – and he is now fully fit for the weekend’s challenge.
Testing takes place on Friday, with qualifying Saturday morning. The first race takes place later the same day at 2pm.
