Ashton Gate is home to Bristol City FC and Bristol Bears Rugby. The stadium is also the headquarters for Bristol Sport, Robins & Bears Community Foundations and the Bristol Sport Foundation
Bristol City FC
Ashton Gate is home to Bristol City men and women’s first teams. City Men play in the EFL’s Sky Bet Championship. City Women play in the topflight of English football – the Barclay’s Women’s Super League.
Bristol Bears
Ashton Gate is home to Bristol Bears men’s first team and has been since 2014. The men play in the Gallagher Premiership. Bears Women play in the Allianz Premier 15s and their home ground is Shaftesbury Park.
Bristol Flyers
Bristol Flyers play in the UK’s topflight of professional basketball – the British Basketball League (BBL). New for the 2023/24 season they will also compete in the European North Basketball League. Their home venue is SGS College, Filton. A new home for the Flyers is currently underway next door to Ashton Gate Stadium with a new 4,000-seater arena planned for go-live 2025.
