Sport England: Core Cities Programme
In September 2017 the Bristol Sport group of charities, Bristol City Robins Foundation, Bristol Bears Community Foundation, Bristol Flyers Community and Bristol Sport Foundation came together to deliver a joint bid funded by Sport England to the value of £126,322 to cover the delivery of five projects that were strategically selected to tackle health inequalities in Greater Bristol.
The programmes were called We Love Sport, Man vs. Fat, Coach Education, Wheelchair Rugby and Walking Sport and every programme exceeded targets and created some real sustainable legacies in the communities they were delivered in.
