The Bristol-based driver who is currently sixth overall is looking to scoop the top spot in the Rookie class.
Zamparelli could overtake fellow rookie Tom Sharp (IDL Racing) this weekend at Silverstone and says he’s making the most of every opportunity to do so:
“We’ve decided to switch teams for the final two races to give myself the very best chance to clinch the title this year.
“We have struggled to nail the car set-up so far this season and things haven’t gone our way but we want to put everything into the last two and show what we can do.
“I went to Snetterton last week, and had a one-off test with GT Marques to see if I liked the car and the new team. Its always different in testing but it was enough time to make me realise that the car was good, and I managed to get some good pace and felt really comfortable straight away.”
GT Marques owner, Paul Mace brings over 30 years experience as a team owner, with a proven record in Porsche racing having won multiple championships since the early 2000s.
Dino’s first race is on Sunday, September 27th at 10:15am. Follow @DinoZamparelli and @Bristol_Racing on Twitter for all the latest updates throughout the weekend.
