“The first half we weren’t up to our standard, but we battled back in the second half,” said the Vixens Midfielder.
“It’s disappointing to concede three goals but we can use this disappointment to improve going forward.”
The Bristol City Women star says the squad has taken real positives during an intense period, with three games in seven days.
“In every game we’ve got off to a really good start,” she added.
“Today wasn’t good enough from our point of view, but we will take a step back and prepare for Birmingham on the 17th May.”
Turner says fatigue isn’t an excuse as Manchester City’s schedule was just as intense.
“It has been tough, but City played on Sunday and we had an extra day to recover.
“We are all professionals and we recover properly so I wouldn’t necessarily use fatigue as an excuse, today we should have been better and it is as simple as that.”
Birmingham are up next for the Vixens and the midfielder says the Spring Series is great preparation for the winter season.
“We’ve done well so far, we are a young team with not much experience” added Turner.
“We are using every game well and learning from it, I think this tournament will stand us in really good stead for the winter league.”
