The Bristol based hockey side bounced back from last weekend’s 4-2 loss away at league leaders Birmingham to claim the three points in a well-contested game.
Claire Thomas opened the scoring in the tenth minute before she doubled the lead in the 44th minute and Dani Jordan added the icing on the cake fifteen minutes later.
It wasn’t one way traffic however with an excellent performance by Clifton goalie Caitlin Jefferies keeping the visitors at bay.
Clifton return to action away at Bowdon Hightown (Manchester) next Saturday, November 21st.
