The Bristol Sport racer was knocked off the track in heat one before recovering to ninth, an impressive win in the second heat saw Hall start Sunday’s first final from P3 on the grid.
Hall struggled in the early stages of the first final, as it became clear that his kart was not running clean, the youngster being swamped by other drivers, ending up way down the field in 12th. Taking a few laps to adjust to the problem with his kart, Hall managed to pick them off his fellow drivers one at a time to retake fifth position at the flag.
Fifth place in the first final saw Hall start the second final from this position. Following a few changes to the kart in the break, Connor made a better start and held on to his position on the first lap.
With the kart now feeling better, Hall drove his socks off to hunt down and pass all of the drivers in front of him one at a time with some unbelievable overtakes. A focused Hall made no mistake once he took the lead, opening up a two second lead, controlling the race to take a stunning victory.
Speaking after the win, Hall remarked, “I’m really pleased to take another race win to end the season on a high. It’s a shame we couldn’t challenge for the title but we started the season way behind.
“I’m pleased to take the most race wins in the championship – it’s all very close at the top, and every point makes a massive difference. Now I’m looking forward to a weekend off, massive thanks to Bristol Sport, Autospec, Trojan Fitness and Body management, for all their support this season.”
