Foundation founder, Steve Lansdown received the cheque from Santander’s Peter Abel ahead of kick off.
The money was raised at Santander’s annual Scavenger Hunt in the Bristol harbourside area, with more than 20 teams from local professional businesses taking part.
“As founder of Bristol Sport Foundation, I would like to thank Santander for their fundraising efforts and on-going volunteering support,” said Steve Lansdown.
“The funds raised will enable us to continue delivering sport-based numeracy programmes for young people in low social economic wards and I call on other businesses in Bristol to follow Santander’s lead and get behind our group of charities at Bristol Sport.”
