The English Football League Kids Cup comprises of a six-a-side competition for Under-11s (Year five and six), which involves over 20,000 children, creating one of the country’s largest national football competitions.

The competition is designed to inspire children to be active, healthy and develop a strong sense of teamwork, while giving them the opportunity to live their dream and play on the Wembley pitch.

Each Football League club organises a free Kids Cup competition for any local schools wishing to take part, but please note each club is capped to a maximum of 16 schools, with places allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The preliminary round will see teams compete in a round-robin tournament, with the winning team qualifying for the regional finals, where they will represent Bristol City.

The winners of the divisional northern and southern finals will then progress to the national final, where they will have the unique opportunity to play on the Wembley pitch ahead of the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off final.

The EFL Kids Cup always proves popular, so register your schools interest as soon as possible by emailing Tom.Werrett@bcfc.co.uk or call 0117 963 0636 to avoid disappointment.
