Providing an affordable, extended opportunity for children to play sport and receive specialist coaching during the school holidays, the camps range from single sport to multi-sports camps.

With a game-sense approach, our charities focus on providing a fun and inclusive environment that is child centred. The camps are led by experienced Level 2 sports coaches, offering the chance for children to play their favourite sports – and try some new ones.


Multi-Sport camps

Bristol Sport Foundation’s Forever Sport Holiday Camps are taking place in the Easter holidays, with two-day camps being held each week at City Academy Bristol Sports Centre on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th March and Tuesday 3rd and Friday 6th April.

Catering for children between the ages of 6-13 (school years 2-8) and split by age, youngsters will experience a range of sports including dodgeball, netball, badminton, cricket and our most popular after-school activity, jailbreak.

Football camps

Bristol City Community Trust’s Football Camps – for children aged 6-11 years old – return on Monday, March 26th at FIVES Soccer Centre, South Bristol Sports Centre. The Community Trust will be working alongside StreetGames Bristol and FIVES Soccer Centre to deliver an action-packed week of football with the main emphasis on the young people having fun. Our coaches begin the fun-filled sessions at 10am each morning, running through to 2pm.

All of our staff are FA Qualified, have attended First Aid and Child Protection courses and hold a current DBS. We offer a safe and secure environment for young people to play and our enthusiastic coaches ensure the participants have the opportunity to express themselves, make friends and have fun.

Rugby camps

Bristol Rugby Community Foundation will be running their ever-popular Easter Holiday Camps – as well as an exciting addition the school holiday schedule.

Lockleaze Sports Centre (March 26th-28th) and Clevedon School Sports Centre (April 3rd-5th) will host three-day Premiership Rugby Player Development Camps during the Easter break, while the Community Foundation is also excited to announce its first ‘Kicking Masterclass’ session at the Bristol Rugby Training Ground on Tuesday, April 3rd (2pm – 4.30pm), under the expert guidance of some of Bristol Rugby club’s top kickers. The ‘Kicking Masterclass’ is for players aged 12-18 years-old and is limited to 50 places.

Basketball camps

Bristol Flyers Community are offering youngsters between the ages of 8-14 years-old the chance to have fun and get active this half-term with their basketball camp. The camps are open to boys and girls, and will give youngsters the chance to learn from stars and coaches from Bristol’s only professional BBL basketball club, Bristol Flyers.

Badminton camps

Run by fully-qualified coaches, Bristol Jets badminton camps are a great chance to have fun and learn new skills in the school holidays.

Our Badminton camps cater for all children between the ages of 8-14 years regardless of previous badminton experience. Held at Gordano School, Portishead (home of Avon Junior Badminton) and led by Avon County coaches the camps provide a mixture of practice and games to hone the children’s badminton skills. With a focus on providing a fun and inclusive environment we also throw in some dodgeball to sharpen the attendees hand eye coordination and footwork!
