Owned by Bristol City Council, Bristol Energy is one of a new breed of energy companies that will reinvest its profits back into its local community.

Bristol Sport Foundation alongside Bristol Rugby and Bristol Flyers have teamed up with the local energy supplier to offer fans the chance to save money on their utility bills whilst also supporting the clubs they love and the community they live in.

Bristol Sport chief commercial officer Caroline Herbert said: “We’re really excited to be able to announce this partnership which aligns itself to our core values.

“For every one of our supporters that switches to Bristol Energy, each club will get money back to reinvest in the grass roots of the club and crucially our Foundation’s flagship multi-sport primary school programme Forever Sport, will be fully supported by Bristol Energy.”

Peter Haigh, Managing Director of Bristol Energy says: “We were set up to save people money on their energy bills. Two thirds of us spend hundreds of pounds more each year than we need to, yet it only takes a few minutes to switch.

Now we can save people money and offer fans the chance to support their clubs, and their local community, just by switching their supplier. And most importantly, we can help more young people across the city to fall in love with sport too.

Fans can also win a VIP day out with Bristol Rugby or Bristol Flyers, including free tickets, courtside seats and an opportunity to meet the team by switching to Bristol Energy. Just quote BristolFly or BristolRFC when you switch.
