Mizuki, who played a starring role in the Jets maiden season in the NBL, coached the school’s Year 7 girls as well as taking part in rallies with Head of PE, Mrs Rose and Jets chairman, Ian Gorham.
“There’s an enormous connection between having inspirational figures to look up to and people actually participating in a sport and continuing to participate, if they are already doing it,” said Gorham.
“For people like Mizuki to engage with kids like these is really, really important.”
