An opening victory against Republic of Ireland and a draw against The Netherlands wasn’t quite enough to secure safe path to the knock-out stages.
The Lionesses needed a point from their final Group B match in Czech Republic to reach the last four.
But, in a contest delayed by four hours due to heavy rainfall, first-half goals from Jenny Kristine Rosholm Olsen and Malin Sunde sent Norway through at England’s expense.
Vixens trio Lauren Hemp (England U-17 captain), Aimee Palmer and Emily Syme were all involved in the tournament.
