England U21s are coming to Ashton Gate
Ashton Gate Stadium announced that they will host England U21s verses Poland U21s on Thursday, March 21st (7.45pm).
Ashton Gate Managing Director Mark Kelly said: “We are delighted to have been chosen to host the England Under-21s against Poland Under-21s. With the four large concerts Ashton Gate will host in the summer this fixture really reinforces Ashton Gate’s place on the map as a sporting and event destination.
“I look forward to welcoming the team to Bristol in March alongside a great home and away crowd.”

A 4000-capacity home for Bristol Flyers Basketball is the centrepiece of the proposed Ashton Gate Sports & Convention Centre – which will include additional housing, a multi-storey car park along with two hotels.

Bristol City’s Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round fixture has been selected for live broadcast by BT Sport and has been scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 17th (1pm KO).
Lee Johnson’s men will host either Shewsbury Town or Wolves in the last 16 tie.
The FA Cup fixture announcement means that Bristol Bears’ Round 13 Gallagher Premiership fixture against Wasps, will now be played on Friday, February 15th (7.45pm KO).
Whilst City’s home Sky Bet Championship clash against Birmingham City has been moves to Tuesday, February 26th (7.45pm KO).
City have won last five games in Championship
City struck with two second-half goals to beat Swansea City at Ashton Gate.
Andreas Weimann’s first goal since August got the Robins up and running just 42 second after the restart, while Callum O’Dowda’s fourth goal of the season completed the 2-0 scoreline.
Frank Fielding produced a fine save to tip a George Byers effort on to the woodwork, while O’Dowda could have made it three, but for a close-range save from Erwin Mulder.
Lee Johnson’s men have now won each of their last five games in the Championship, for the first time since the double-winning 2014/15 season in League One.
