Ei Live Exhibition

Thursday, 17th October saw hundreds of publicans, managers and potential publicans visit the stadium to attend Ei Live, an industry leading trade show.

Many exhibitors took over our concourses, showcasing everything from drinks and food to pub services and marketing, the shows proved to be an excellent opportunity to meet new and existing suppliers and take advantage of many trade show only deals.


Record breaking sellout match for Bristol Bears

Friday evening saw 26,399 supporters pack Ashton Gate as Bristol Bears began the Premiership season with a bang.

The attendance was a new stadium record for a sporting event and supporters were treated to a Bath Rugby derby demolition from Pat Lam’s men

Hospitality sales were also broken as we surpassed Ashton Gate records of hospitality covers on a single matchday!

Business Showcase Southwest returns for 10th anniversary

Wednesday, October 23rd saw thousands of business minded guests attend the largest free business event in the South West of England.

With the most successful winner of The Apprentice, Mark Wright, as well as Lewis Moody as keynote speakers, the annual event was a huge success.

As the event wrapped up at 3.30pm, the in-house operations and events team worked together to get the concourses ready for matchday in just an hour!


Robins’ 2-1 win at home to Charlton Athletic

Following the successful Business Showcase Southwest event Bristol City took on Charlton Athletic, sealing a well reserved win with the match kicking into gear in the second and a big response was needed once the Addicks took the lead through Macauley Bonne.

Famara Diédhiou nodded City level before receiving a straight red card and when it looked like the game was heading for a draw, up stepped Josh Brownhill with a last-gasp winner.

Care & Support West Awards Dinner

For another year running the Lansdown Suite will host the annual Care & Support West Awards, Gala Dinner on Friday evening – seeing over 200 guests attend the event.

The Ashton Gate Sports Bar, which has the largest indoor pub screen in the country, will open for fans to watch England take on New Zealand in their semi-final of the Rugby World Cup.
