Somerset-based Lando competes in the inaugural British 2015 MSA Formula championship, which is run to FIA F4 regulations and recognised as an affordable step between karting and F3.
Despite being one of the youngest drivers in the championship, 15-year-old Lando, who races for Carlin, currently sits second in the table and recently won his first ADAC F4 race in Spa, Belgium.
“It has been quite a week for me. To race in Spa and to make it on to the podium in my debut weekend was fantastic. To announce my partnership with Bristol Sport is the icing on the cake.
“Knowing that Bristol Sport looks after so many other athletes in its sporting group and can support me in the build-up to and after races is a real plus.
“I’m really looking forward to sharing some of the insight that the Bristol Sport group can make available, for example from sharing nutrition and training advice to marketing and public relations. I hope I can make everyone proud.”
Bristol Sport CEO Andrew Billingham added: “It’s great that Lando has joined us at the start of our journey with Bristol Sport Racing. We want to inspire sport and sporting success in Bristol and beyond and I hope that we can help Lando achieve his dream of F1 success.
“I think it will be really beneficial for Lando to draw on the support not just within our racing group of Dino and Connor but also the wider sports that we represent.”
