The GT Marques driver ended last season on a high with a double-win at Silverstone and two podiums in the final round at Brands Hatch in October.

Zamparelli said: “We didn’t start the season the way I would have wanted but I changed teams near the end of the season which enabled me to become a lot more competitive.

“The idea is to carry on the form that we showed at the end of last season into the first race.”

It has been a long winter for the Bristolian driver who has only been able to test for four days in the Porsche.

“Even though we haven’t had as much time in the car as other teams, we feel ready to go. The car is working well and I am working well with the car.”

The 23-year-old added: “We are taking the experience and knowledge from last year and putting it into the first race. I am confident on the pace and ready to fight.”

Dino recorded the fastest overall practice on Friday before qualifying sessions today (Saturday, April 2nd) at 11:25am.

Zamparelli’s first race is Sunday, April 3rd at 10am and second race at 3.30pm.
