Dino started in seventh position in race one on Saturday following a steady showing in the morning’s qualifying. Zamparelli moved up two places during the race, with a last gasp move on the final lap seeing him finish in fifth.
The Bristol Sport Racer then matched this performance with another fifth place in the second race on Sunday.
Talking after the race on Sunday, Zamparelli said “We got two fifth place finishes this weekend, which is ok.
“It’s not quite where we want to be, but we’ll have a debrief with the team and try to understand how the car is performing and how we can move up the rankings for the next race.”
Zamparelli is next in action on Saturday, June 27th, at Croft in rounds 7 and 8 of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB.
