The GT Marques driver put on a dominant display to take a double pole position at the Croft circuit during a tense qualifying session at the Darlington Circuit.

Zamparelli managed to maintain his pole position throughout both races to record two impressive victories in the seventh and eighth round of the Porsche Carrera Cup.

After a disappointing qualifying round last time out, Dino was relived to be back on form: “We nailed the set-up for qualifying and it was great to record the fastest lap by over four tenths of a second.”

“The car felt really good and I was delighted to be starting on pole by such a margin.”

The 23-year-old added: “We knew we needed two good starts to maintain our lead and we did just that.”

The Bristol Sport Racing driver is now just three points behind the series leader.

“We picked up maximum points this weekend and we have closed the gap on the leader.”

“We have a few weeks break now but I am confident we can come back and put in another strong performance.”

Dino’s will next race at Snetterton from Friday, July 29th to Sunday, July 31st.

“Even though we are pleased with our results this weekend, there are still things we need to work on before the next race.”
