The GT Marques driver headed to Brands Hatch with confidence following his double-win at Silverstone, Zamparelli narrowly missed out on pole in qualifying ending up just one tenth of a second back in third.

The 23 year-old managed to set the fastest lap in race two as he maintained his grid position in both races, finishing in third in each.

Zamparelli said: “We had a really solid weekend. I think its good to finally prove we had the speed and it wasn’t just a one off at Silverstone”.

The Bristolian driver added: “It was a tough weekend as it was the first time I had been around the Brands Hatch GP track in a Porsche”.

Dino proved making the bold move to change teams ahead of Silverstone was the right decision after winning both his races that weekend and being back on the podium at Brands Hatch.

He commented: “Bristol Sport and I made the decision to change teams for the final two races and I think a lot of people stood up and noticed our last two performances”.

“What we achieved with GT Marques in the last two rounds was really promising. I don’t think anyone would knock us for going back next season and trying to win the championship.”
