The GT Marques driver had a test day at Croft earlier this week ahead of the next round of the Porsche Carrera Cup this weekend.

The 23-year-old said: “We had missed out on testing at the last track and it effected us more than we thought. This time we used that test day to our full advantage and put in some good lap times”.

The Bristolian driver was forced into ‘damage limitation’ mode after qualifying in seventh place on the grid at Oulton Park last time out.

“We know we are quick but we need to nail the set-up for the qualifying rounds. After testing we are feeling strong and back to full confidence for this weekend.”

Despite a disappointing qualifying position, Zamparelli managed to battle up to fifth in the first race which meant he started in that position in the second race.

He then managed to clinch the third place podium position in the second race meaning he remains in second place on the leader board.

“We lost some key points last round which we need to claw back at Croft”.

Dino has qualifying on Saturday, June 18th at 2:10pm and then his first race is Sunday, June 19th at 12:42pm and the second at 4:19pm.
